Construction of Crowdsourcing Platform of the Library for Digital Humanities: A Case Study of the Crowdsourcing Platform for Digital Historical Documents of Shanghai Library

Abstract: This paper discusses the problems about the role, construction mode and function module of
the crowdsourcing platform of the library for digital humanities through the normal operation framework,
process and the crowdsourcing projects at home and abroad. And this papee construction of the crowdsourcing
platform through a case study of the one for digital historical documents of Shanghai Library from various
perspectives, including building purpose, construction mode, functional features and operational test. The
paper sums up its experience and foresees problems in the future operation of the platform in order to
provide reference for other libraries constructing the crowdsourcing platform for digital humanities.
