Abstract: The classical catalogue of Chinese books compiled by Tohoku University records two volumes of Tianxia Yitong Zhi, and indicates that both editions are block-printed by Wangshoutang in 1461. The two books are block-printed by Wangshoutang at the end of the Ming dynasty, and printed by Wenlinge and Jixiutang. Daming Yitong Zhi was printed to Tianxia Yitong Zhi, not to avoid the literary inquisition in Qing Dynasty, but closely related to the popular desire and pursuit of knowledge all over the world at the end of Ming Dynasty. There are still many mistakes in the bibliography, which can be summarized into two points. First, the author’s name, time and writing style of ancient books are incorrect. Second, the edition of ancient books described by Tohoku University Library is incorrect and inaccurate.
