Abstract: According to the conversion practice of classification numbers of Chinese and Japanese
literature, this paper compares and analyzes the marks, the division of literature eras, the establishment of
literature categories and the classification system of literature categories of Nippon Decimal Classification
and Chinese Library Classification. It puts forward literary theory, literary history, literary works and
research conversion rules, and lists a large number of conversion examples.
