Abstract: This paper has done a cultural archeological excavation of Go Sian Lok, an IndonesianChinese bibliophile at the end of 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century, in order to discover his individual values and contribution. In the meantime, the author proposes several new perspectives to inspire further researches.
