Abstract: New York Public Library has a large donation fund, which is the benchmark of public library’s
fundraising efforts. This paper summarizes the mechanism construction, publicity, fundraising methods and
capital utilization through the analysis of the fundraising work, methods and main utilization directions of
the New York Public Library to provide reference for public library.
