Abstract

Abstract: The Global Vision Report (abbreviated as the Report) was officially released at the 84th annual meeting of the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions(IFLA) on August 26, 2018. This paper makes a general introduction to the Report, and analyses the six questions, two findings, ten highlights and ten opportunities demonstrated in the Report, as well as its data sources and planning process. It puts forward some suggestions on actively participating in various projects of IFLA, promoting world cultural heritage protection and accelerating transformation and reform of libraries.
