“Cultural Supermarket”: Zhangjiagang Children’s Library’s New Exploration on Reading Promotion

Abstract: Zhangjiagang Children’s Library, the main practitioner of reading promotion, constructs a new model for children library — “Cultural Supermarket”— under the guidance of Level Reading concept. It divides the service objects into four groups: 0-3 years old , 3-6 years old, 6-12 years old and 12-18 years old. It tailors service to different age group, but maintains consistence among groups to maximize the experience of “Cultural Supermarket”.
