Abstract: Chinese e-book platforms offered by booksellers currently provide few e-books, and the synchronized publishing of paper books and electric books will take long to be realized, yet it offers a variety of possibilities for library. Academic library should adopt single-copy policy as soon as possible, while purchasing ebooks or adding printed copies according to the usage of the single copy. To supplement the collections, library could establish reposition mechanism based on circulation data over the years as well as the generalized functions and class numbers of the collections in question.
