Comparative Studies on the Human-Computer Interaciton and Digital Reading Platform: From the Perspective of User Experience

Abstract:

As the competition in digital reading market is becoming fiercer and fiercer, user experience plays an important role in meeting users’ needs. In order to evaluate the digital reading interface, this paper attempts to set up an evaluation framework based on the theory of perceived affordance, which consists of fourteen specific design guidelines. Then we conduct comparative analysis on the human-computer interfaces of QQ Reader and Easy Reader accordingly, and make a summary of the features of these digital reading platforms.
