Exploring New Ideas of Standard Description of Local Literature: Taking Min Capital Literature as an Example

Abstract: In the information age, optimizing literature content based on users’ needs and processing and developing literature have become the focus of future work in library cataloging, which traditionally only involves the description of external literature features. Local literature, with strong regional and distinct characteristics, should be revealed comprehensively and multi-dimensionally, such as attaching importance to notes, indexing keywords deeply, unifying classification and other basic access points so as to improve the quality of literature cataloging as well as promoting the circulation and utilization of local literature.
