Introduction and Analysis of Reading Promotion Activities for Children and Young Adults in U.K., U.S.A., Singapore and Its Enlightenment

Abstract

Abstract:

This paper introduces series of library reading promotion activities aiming at nurturing and cultivating the love of reading in children and young adults in U.K., U.S.A. and Singapore. It analyzes and expounds typical cases of reading promotion services there, and study them from the perspectives of theory and practices. It is hoped that such experience can be used as reference to improve the children’s and young adults’ reading promotion activities in China.
