Abstract: Children’s services are an important component of readers’ service for public library. Public libraries around the world have attached great importance to 0-6-year-old children. While investing more efforts in publicizing and promoting public awareness so that general public would accept the concept of sharing library with a much younger group, public library should also pay attention to creating amiable environment, enriching resources, and designing activities to the interest of this group of readers, as well as developing collaboration with the rest of the society to nurture professional service for children.
