Practices of the Centralized Management of New Books’ Circulation in University Libraries: Take Library of Guangzhou University as an Example

Abstract

Abstract: The utilization rate of college libraries is generally not high, and the management of new books is an important way to improve usage efficiency. Guangzhou University library has explored a new pattern of management, and made an beneficial attempt. Without specialized library room and personnel, and with the aid of computer automation technology, we have adjusted the working process, and launch a new model of management, which has achieves good results.
