The Implications of the Huangdao (Desert Island) Community Library for Chinese Civil Library

Abstract:

Huangdao Community Library is a new type of non-profit community libraries emerging in China in recent years. Analysis of their operation mode, management system, and hematopoietic strategy is done here to explore the current development patterns, commercialization potentials, the service market segmentation, standardized management mechanism, and cross-border development model and to provide reference for civil public libraries.
