Abstract:

Big Data is coming. How should libraries welcome this new era of information technology? First, librarians should understand th essence of “big data” and establish a whole new “Data View” based on the logic of “from digitization to datatization”. And then opportunities and challenges to libraries should
be analyzed so as to put library into the publishing industry chain. Finally, the question “When libraries meet big data” should be thought over.
