Abstract:

At present, a Ming dynasty’s block-printed edition of Sculptural Review on Fine Articles in
Chan-kuo Ts’e by Nanjing’s the Best Scholars has been collected and stored in Shenyang Normal University
Library. This book was edited by (Ming) Tang binyin, noted by (Ming) Zhu zhifan, reviewed by (Ming) Gong
sanyi and published by Zixin room Yu shaoya in the first year of the Ming Wanli emperor . This book contains
161 historical articles collected from Chan-kuo Ts’e and their corresponding notes and reviews. This blockprinted
edition is an extremely rare block-printed edition and cannot be found in any other libraries in China.
Therefore, this book has significant value of both historical document and edition.
