Abstract:

Based on the network of mobile library and self-service library in Guangzhou, this article
illustrates the criteria and principles for geographical positioning of library stations, and discusses the
relationship between such services and the metropolitan area network. It proposes plans for the coordinative
development of mobile library, self-service library and the metropolitan area network for the sake of realizing
omnipresent library service.
