Abstract: As one of the most influential libraries in the world, the National Customs Center of the Library of Congress of the United States launched a well-known project of oral history of professional folklore, and has collected the resources of oral literature of professional folklore throughout the United States through a professional online platform, Oracle Application Express (APEX), achieving fruitful results. On the basis of introducing the American Folklore Center's Occupational Folklore Project and Oral Literature Online Collection Platform, this paper analyzes the process of online collection of professional folklore oral literature, and probes into the characteristics of online collection and its enlightenment to Chinese libraries.
