摘要:

“六本书挑战赛”(Six Book Challenge)是由英国阅读社发起的一个全国性质的成人阅读推广项目,以阅读社的数据库和网络商店为资源支撑。其核心工作是组织识字水平不高的成年人利用半年时间读6本书,并记录阅读感受和随想,以促进参赛者阅读习惯的培养、信息素养的提升以及人格的塑造。我国在借鉴英国 “六本书挑战赛”的基础上,应打破行业限制,联合多种社会机构共同推广;根据成人阅读水平倡导分级阅读,使阅读更具针对性;创新宣传方式,增强阅读活动的影响力和吸引力,从而促进阅读推广。

Abstract:

“Six Book Challenge” is a national promotion program for adult literacy, which is run by the Reading Agency and supported by a database and an online store. The annual program invites people to pick six readers and record their reading in a diary to help them get into the habit of reading, develop information literacy, and shape personality. Drawing lessons from “Six Book Challenge” in Britain, we should consider involving various social institutions to develop a similar program together, differentiating readers according to their reading abilities, and innovating publicity methods to encourage a wider audience to participate.
