Abstract: In order to integrate excellent traditional Chinese culture into children’s reading, Haimen Library explored a trinity model of library, school and community. A comprehensive and creative practice was made with public library being the leader while coordinating educational institutes and community organizations. The potentials of all social forces were stimulated by the intense and detailed efforts from multiple aspects. Based upon divisions of tasks, the service resources were re-integrated and then enabled a good interaction among library, school and community in terms of children’s reading. Further, it provided impetus for the inheritance of excellent culture.
