Abstract: In the past 70 years, the development of China’s information organization has gone through
two phrases before and after the reform and opening up, four periods of pioneering and establishing,
exploring and practicing in difficulties, rapid development and innovative development. It has made
remarkable achievements in the construction of information organization tool system, subject system and
technology system. It is also inspired that the development of information organization should always focus
on users’ information needs, adhere to the new information technology leading and promoting, insist on
the development model with Chinese characteristics, and adhere to innovation based on Inheritance and
reference.
