美国图书馆有推荐儿童阅读的传统，本文列举了美国儿童推荐书目，分析了美国图书馆在儿童阅读推广特别是书目推荐中所起的作用和特点，旨在探讨我国图书馆在此方面可以借鉴的经验。

Abstract:
This paper first lists the recommended books for children in the United States, and then discusses the effects and characteristics of foreign library in children’s reading promotion, in order to learn the experience of children’s reading promotion and to apply it to the domestic libraries.
