芝加哥公共图书馆儿童阅读推广项目分析及启示

Analysis and Enlightenment of Children Reading Promotion in Chicago Public Library

摘要:

为推动儿童阅读,营造阅读氛围,芝加哥公共图书馆启动了一系列项目,其中“暑期学习挑战”(Summer Learning Challenge)是其典型代表。文章从目标对象、用户活动和参与主体这三个方面对这一活动项目进行分析,并结合国内公共图书馆儿童阅读的推广问题,总结了3点启示,即:分级开展儿童阅读推广活动;优化活动内容与形式;联合多方外部机构合作开展阅读推广等。

Abstract:

To promote children reading and create a reading atmosphere, the Chicago Public Library has been launching a series of projects in which “Summer Learning Challenge” is a typical representation. The article analyses the activity from the perspectives of its target users, user activities and main participants,
and, by introducing the problems of children reading promotion in domestic public libraries as a whole sums up some ideas for improvement, namely, launching children's reading promotion by grading, optimizing the content and forms of the activity, allying with multiple external agencies to launch the reading promotion.
