图书馆学与档案学双重视角下的科学手稿组织方法研究

摘要：

科学手稿是一种具有科学研究性质的手写或打印文档，在学术、文献及史料方面有较高价值。科学手稿既具有文献的特性，也具有档案的特性，因此适用于图书馆与档案的双重组织原则。通过选择科学手稿的著录单位，讨论如何对其进行编码、分类、构建元数据模型、选取检索点及著录等一系列组织过程，使之成为可检索可利用的信息资源。最后以上海交通大学李政道捐赠资料为例进行科学手稿的组织方法实证研究。

Abstract:

This paper discusses the definition of manuscripts and scientific manuscripts, summarizes the academic value, literature value and historical value of scientific manuscripts. As scientific manuscripts have characteristics of both literature and archives, their organization could be conducted with organization principles of both library and archives. Therefore, a scientific manuscripts organizing method is designed,which contains six steps from selecting the level of arrangement, assigning unique ID, and classifying category to designing metadata model, determining access points, and cataloging. The whole process makes scientific manuscripts searchable and usable online. At last, the practices of T. D. Lee Archives Online are given as an example to illustrate the organizing approach of scientific manuscripts.
