摘要：
数字出版环境下，书后索引数字化是书后索引的发展趋势。数字化书后索引将会超过纸质书后索引的比重，但是在一定时期内，纸质书后索引依然是书后索引的基础工作。本研究认为，需要分层次有序推进书后索引工作的数字化发展，并对此提出了确定优先编制的书后索引类型、发展书后索引产业链、重视书后索引研究和实践的国际交流三种策略。

Abstract:
In the age of digital publishing, the digital index is the trend of back-of-the-book index. The proportion of digital index of back-of-the-book will be more than that of the paper index, but the paper index will remain to be the basic work for a period of time. This study argues that we need promote the index digital hierarchically, and also puts forward three ways to develop it, namely, to determine the priority type for index compilation, to develop the industrial chain of back-of-the-book indexing and to attach importance to the index research and practices of international communication.
