Abstract:

By theoretically analyzing the nature of “Human Library”, the paper points out the pan-social attributes of “Human Library”, which are not limited to the library field. “Human Library” should be a free and sharing platform of diverse interpersonal communication approaches, rather than one single new interpersonal communication manner. “Incentive” mechanism for “Human Books” should be the key to Human Library development.
