Abstract: Image building is an issue of strategy, which requires right goals, detailed planning and actions, and long-term efforts. The efforts of U.S. library image building are a good example of the features of strategy and of the industry: emphasis on the concept construction, correct goals, complete policies, unified planning, and due attention to activities, thus building positive images in the eyes of public.
