Abstract:

Based on the brief analysis of the current status and the urgent needs of the Internet information in our country, the author presents a new concept “cloud-direct searching” in this essay, and introduces three new typical applications, such as Summon Suggestions, Quertle, and GoPubMed, with detailed elaborations of their approaches. The discovery experiences are summarized, whereas opportunities and challenges of this constructive method are proposed in the end.
