Seven-in-One Interactive Reading Therapy Intervention Model forDrug Addicts and Its Empirical Study

Abstract:

In order to expand the dimensions of library reading promotion and the service groups ofreading therapy, this study analyzes the current situation of drug addiction treatment, the causes of drugaddiction, psychological problems and their causes, and the difficulties and causes of integration into familyand society for drug addicts. The proposed intervention strategy was based on a cross-theoretical model,and an interactive reading therapy that combined cognitive preparation, problem cognition and treatment,cause cognition and treatment, group counseling, group communication, and individual perception wasused. The results of the empirical study show that the proposed intervention strategies and treatment toolsensure the effective implementation of the experiment; the intervention model and the book formula systemcan significantly improve drug addicts’ mental health and self-efficacy in drug treatment, and can help themachieve the goal of finding themselves and returning to their families and society. This study provides ageneral research paradigm reference for library reading therapy for special groups.
