Abstract: Intelligent, efficient, and accurate personalized recommendation service is one of the important topics for the intelligent transformation and upgrading of libraries in the era of big data. At the seminar “Personalized Recommendation Based on Big Data: Ideas and Practices”, 7 experts from the library and computer fields brainstormed ways to develop personalized recommendation services from the perspective of the users, shared practical achievements and application scenarios from the perspective of implementation cases, explored the application potential of artificial intelligence from the perspective of technology, and further anticipated the wider application of personalized recommendation in the academic field. The seminar provides new technologies, new perspectives, and new ideas for libraries, especially for university libraries, to explore the optimization and upgrading of personalized recommendation services. This paper summarizes the main points and findings of the seminar to provide useful references.
