Abstract: This paper discusses how the development of omnimedia and big data are triggering a new reading revolution, ushering in a new era of reading (It tries defining “mega-reading” as “a new era of reading”). It clearly points out the necessity for traditional library to transit into smart hybrid library accordingly.
