Abstract: Taking the collaborative research of humanities, libraries, and other disciplines in the design and implementation of the Chinese Phonology Database Sharing Research Platform as an example, the paper describes the internal research of humanities, the cooperation between libraries and humanities, and the cooperation between other disciplines. Starting from the “problems”, and extending the “user-centered” concept, it explains the significance of cooperation between library and humanities. From the four aspects, namely, resources, data management and storage space, platform and user aggregation, and personnel structure, it elaborates on the advantages and irreplaceability of the library in digital humanities cooperation research. It regards library as a natural digital humanities incubator, and believes that the in-depth cooperation between library and humanities will make it easier to achieve the balance and practicality between “digital” and “humanities”, helping to promote digital humanities projects on the application level.
