Abstract:

The value of library mainly consists of resource value and social value. Information resources,
space resources and culture resources are the basic factors of the resource value of library, and freedom and
equality are essential for the social value of library. The major mission of library at present and in the future
is to play the role as a center of knowledge, learning and culture.
