A Textual Criticism on Guangyue Yinghua

Abstract: Guangyue Yinghua compiled by Xu Zhongli of the Early Ming Dynasty, has at least three editions survived, including one edition published in the Early Ming Dynasty, two manuscripts by Wang Shizhen and Tan Jichong. All editions are consisted of seven-character regulated verse, 15 volumes, which is incomplete. The original edition is a comprehensive selection, including poems of the Tang, Yuan and Ming, and of all kinds of modes, with more volumes. The five volumes of the Ming of the editions survived are the most valuable parts, with obvious regional traits.
