The Summarization on Rare Versions of Drama and Novel Collected in the Royal Library of Denmark

Abstract:

Abundant versions of Chinese ancient literatures of drama and novel are archived in the Royal Library of Denmark. The collection of drama pieces include six Ling Nan local operas such as Lin Pan Gui（《林攀桂》）and Zhang Sheng Shang Jing（《张生上京》）, Muyu Shu such as Sheng Yuan Tang
Xin Ke Quan Ben Hua Jian Ji （《胜源堂新刻全本花笺记》）, and Korean ancient manuscript Yun Lin Bie Shu Hui Xiang Tuo Zhu Di Liu Cai Zi Shu （《云林别墅绘像妥注第六才子书》）, and so on. Novels collected in the library include not only fine editions of the Ming and Qing dynasty such as Xin Ke Quan
Xiang Cha Zeng Tian Hu Wang Qing Zhong Yi Shui Hu Quan Zhuan（《新刻全像插增田虎王庆忠义水浒全传》） and Si Da Qi Shu Di Yi Zhong（《四大奇书第一种》）, but also Korean Chinese novel Yu Lin Meng （《玉麟梦》）. This paper is written to disclose the detailed information and to raise academic attention to these literatures.
