Practices and Enlightenment of Reading Promotion Service in University of Glasgow Library in the Digital Environment

Abstract

Abstract:

Digital reading is becoming an unstoppable trend. More and more university libraries are focusing on the innovation of reading promotion model from physical space to virtual space and hope to retain and guide users to use high-quality library resources and services efficiently. This paper introduces
the methods and experiences of reading promotion in University of Glasgow Library in terms of social media, library game application and librarianship improvement, summarizing some beneficial lessons for domestic academic libraries.
