Analysis on the Resources Purchasing and Circulations of American Public Libraries Based on a Mathematical Model

Abstract

Abstract:

This paper summarizes the acquisition budgets and circulations of American public libraries these years. It adopts a quantitative time-series model to forecast the development on budgets and circulations of the printing books and e-books in these libraries, and the results will hopefully provide reference for the development and innovation of library resources in the future.
