Abstract:

The Collection of books of Sheng Xuanhuai, known as the “Collection of Foolish Studio”,donated by his descendants in 1932, was collected by Shanghai St. John’s University, Jiaotong Universityand Shanxi Mingxian School. At present, the collection of the former two universities has been relativelyclearly cataloged, but not the Shanxi Mingxian School. The article compares the contents of “Shengshi’sdonation book” recorded in Mingxian Weekly and Mingxian Book Register, collected in Shanxi AgriculturalUniversity, formerly known as Shanxi Mingxian School, and also refers to the existing “Collection ofFoolish Studio” in the library of Shanxi Agricultural University. The author hopes to present the situation ofthe “Collection of Foolish Studio” collected by Shanxi Mingxian School to restore its donation history .
