Building of Campus Reading Ecology from “Semi-person” to “Whole Person” and “Whole School”: Centering on the Volume Branch Reading: Reading Gain Talent

Abstract: The article interprets the concept of campus reading promotion advocated by Zhu Yongxin and Xu Yan, the editors of the second series of Literary China National Reading Promotion, from the perspective of the reading ecology of “whole people” to “whole school” and even “all people”. It explains that the volume Branch Reading: Reading Gain Talent is of great significance to the construction of “Scholarly Campus” and “Literary China”. The concept of “Branch Reading”, based on the disciplinary characteristics and talent training objectives of different colleges and universities, has enriched the disciplinary system of “Reading Culture”. The excellent schools selected by the book are active in student reading guidance and campus reading promotion; their stories are well worth referenced.
