Abstract:

Sun Deqian is a famous bibliographer during the period of Republic of China. His manuscript JINSHI YIWENLUE is hidden in the Shanghai Library. The National Library has an anonymous manuscript JINSHI YIWENLUE which it is also the Sun’s manuscript. Through textual research, it is also the Sun’s manuscript. After carefully comparison, we found that National Library’s manuscript is the first draft manuscript and the Shanghai Library’s manuscript is the final version. The content of National Library’s manuscript is complete but too simple while Shanghai Library’s manuscript is rich but almost lost Jibu. If put these two books together, we can know the original appearance of the book. Compared with other similar works, although it was a later one, it has detailed information, perfect system, exquisite textual research and the greatest achievement. From this book, we can have a comprehensive and vivid understanding of the writings of Jin Dynasty.
