Library Acting as Main Driver of Reading Promotion on Campus:Focusing on Reading Promotion Practice in Campus Activities of“Time of Happy Reading”and“Qingying Forum”

Abstract

Abstract:

Beginning with the origin and planning of the activities, the paper puts forward the necessity of taking the library as the main driver of reading promotion on campus. Focusing on the reading promotion practices on campus, such as “Time of Happy Reading” and “Qingying Forum”, the present study elaborates the main content of the activities from such aspects as activity texts, dissemination patterns, derivative products and promotion strategies. The paper also introduces the reading promotion effects and their influence on the circulation of the library collections, and summarizes the operation experience and some thoughts.
