Investigation and Analysis on Integration of Disciplines of Education

Abstract

Abstract:

Based on the detailed investigation into disciplines and majors setting of China LIS education, this paper discusses the discipline integration of Library Science, Informatics, and Archival Science, and puts forward the following three recommendations: ① within information science, the integration needs to be strengthened; ② the integration scope of information science with other disciplines needs to be further broadened; ③ on doctorate education level, the integration between information science and philosophy is needed.
