超越时空的思想智慧和理念——有感于张琪玉教授创建情报语言学学科领域之巨大意义

摘要/Abstract

摘要： 从为武汉大学1977级学生讲授“情报检索语言”课程到《情报检索语言》和《情报语言学基础》巨著的出版，张琪玉教授一直是情报语言学的领路人。本文通过对主要相关英文著作和英美国家及国际标准的发表时间与内容的观察来讨论张琪玉教授开拓情报检索语言研究领域的意义和对情报语言学学科建设的贡献。事实证明，张琪玉教授的思想智慧和理念是超越时空的，是走在世界前列的。他的研究方法和他的脚踏实地、结合国情、将理论直接应用于实践的研究作风也影响了整整一代情报语言学研究者，而他对知识的执著追求和对学生的精心培养又使得他的学生们受益最深。

Abstract: From the first course on “Information Retrieval Languages” offered to the 77 Class of Wuhan University to the landmarked publication of “Information Retrieval Languages” and “Foundation of Information Languages”, Prof. Zhang Qiyu has been the leader of this new discipline. This article discusses the significance of the exploration and development of Information Retrieval Languages (IRL) field and the establishment of Information Languages (IL) discipline by Prof. Zhang Qiyu, with the context of the publication timeline of major scholarly works and national and international standards in this and related fields. The evidence strongly confirmed that the wisdom and concepts of Prof. Zhang are timeless in the world. His research methods and his practical approaches have influenced a whole generation of IL researchers, among which his students have benefitted most from his enthusiasm to the knowledge and his dedication to the education.
