摘要：

下载量与下载成本作为最常见的数据库绩效评价指标，无法对数据库的真实使用情况做出全面客观的评价。本文以首都师范大学图书馆订购的27 个外文期刊数据库为例，统计分析了1 658 种沉寂期刊和66 种高频期刊的基本特征。认为可以把期刊沉寂和高频下载的情况作为优化馆藏的依据和数字资源绩效考核的指标，应当深入探究期刊沉寂的具体原因，汇编沉寂期刊和高频期刊虚拟专辑，加强期刊用量报告的多维分析，并重视不同学科师生使用偏好对数字资源用量的影响。

Abstract:

The construction of digital resources has become a key attention in the library and information science community. Taking the Capital Normal University Library as an example, this study analyzes the basic characteristics of highly downloaded journals and lowly downloaded journals in different databases. This study suggests that the number of downloads can be used as a metric for optimizing library collections. It is necessary to further explore the specific reasons for lowly downloaded journals, compile virtual albums of journals with high and low downloads, strengthen the multidimensional analysis of journal usage reports, and pay attention to the influence of different users’ preferences on digital resource usage in different disciplines.
