Abstract:

Japanese “healing” culture is not a temporary fashion, but a cultural phenomenon that reflects social conditions, which can be attributed to Japanese unique culture and social psychology. Based on sorting out the Japanese “healing” culture and “bibliotherapy”, this article focuses on introducing the concepts of Japanese “picture book therapy”, “picture book therapist” and the promotion of “picture book therapy”. The author listed ten representative books of “picture book therapy” in Japan, surveyed readers’ evaluations of these related works, and suggested the introduction of “picture book therapy” into China to meet the growing spiritual needs and “healing” needs of the people.
