The Development of BIBFRAME Vocabulary and Its Application

摘要:

BIBFRAME 作为本体模型,是图书馆书目数据实现关联数据化的关键,已在图书馆社区得到广泛应用。本文对美国国会图书馆发布的BIBFRAME 模型及词表的类及属性分析,基于PCC、LD4P、Share-VDE 项目探讨关联数据化中BIBFRAME 模型的应用实践,旨在探索图书馆数据关联化设计中的关键要素。通过分析发现,BIBFRAME 从术语映射、模型拓展、平台应用等方面为关联数据化项目提供了支持,即BIBFRAME 为实现CONSER 标准记录的语义转换,提供了一套术语体系;拓展BIBFRAME 模型,构建了bibliotek-o 本体模型,为本体等各类词表资源的拓展应用提供了良好的示范;为项目平台搭建提供了基于BIBFRAME 作品、实例、单件的分层结构搜索。并从词表的动态适应性和重用两个方面对BIBFRAME 的发展进行了思考。

Abstract:

As an ontology model, BIBFRAME is the key to the realization of linking of librarybibliographic data, and has been widely used in the library community. Based on the class and propertyanalysis of BIBFRAME model and vocabulary released by the Library of Congress, this paper discussesthe application of BIBFRAME model in linked data based on PCC, LD4P and Share-VDE projects, inorder to explore the key elements in the design of library linked data. Through the analysis, it is found thatBIBFRAME provides support for Linked Data Projects from the aspects of term mapping, model expansionand platform application. In other words, BIBFRAME provides a set of terminology system to realize thesemantic transformation of CONSER standard record. The paper also expands the BIBFRAME model andconstructs the bibliotek-o ontology model, which provides a good demonstration for the expansion andapplication of various thesaurus resources such as ontology. It provides a hierarchical structure search basedon BIBFRAME work, instance and item for the construction of the project platform. And the developmentof BIBFRAME is considered from two aspects: dynamic adaptability and reuse.
