Abstract: The Poems of Pre-Qin, Han, Wei, Jin, Southern and Northern Dynasties, edited by Lu Qinli, is a masterpiece of poetry before the Tang Dynasty. Due to the limitations of working conditions, heavy volume, and compiled by one person, there are some inevitable omissions. In the past forty years, the academic research on this book has produced considerable results, especially in adding missing works, examining works, correcting authors’ biography, discussing compiling styles, and revealing collation errors. But there are still many mistakes in the text that have yet to be cleaned up, such as repeated compilations, wrong sources of literature, wrongly accepted works, Tang poems mistakenly included, and errors and omissions in texts. Since this book is at the core of the pre-Tang literature, it is slightly explained to provide some references for further revision.
