Abstract:  Liu Pansui is not only a famous modern scholar of literature and history, but also a collector of
books. He has collected more than 100,000 volumes in his lifetime, especially known for Thirteen Classics
of Song Dynasty, its secret book of Ming Dynasty and unique copies. This article examines the process of
his collection, his interests and seals, and also explains the end of his collection. In fact, except the missing
and burned books, many rare books and unique copies are collected in the libraries.
