Abstract: At present, the development of public libraries in the eastern, central and western China is still uneven and inadequate. In the context of the implementation of the Public Libraries Act, how to further improve the integration of public library resources and service collaboration, and how to promote the overall synchronization, coordination, so as to realize scientific, healthy and sustainable development of public library undertakings have become most important topics for public library practitioners and researchers in China. Taking the practice of the touring lectures of Hunan, Hubei, Jiangxi and Anhui public libraries for example, the paper explores the methods of promoting the sustainable development of inter-provincial cooperation regarding lecture service in public libraries in accordance with the law.
