Abstract:

There are a lot of methods to evaluate the quality of books in a library, among which citation
analysis and library statistics are the most widely used. Taking psychological academic books as the target, the
paper compares and summarizes the two methods by each to select key books and publishers. It comes to the
conclusion that citation analysis works more efficiently as an evaluation tool.
